Brownie Layer

  • 1 box brownie mix plus ingredients listed on the box

Cookie Dough Filling

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour heat-treated
  • 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • salt pinch

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the cookie dough: In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the milk, vanilla, and salt. Stir in the heat-treated flour, then fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  • Shape the dough balls: Scoop small portions of cookie dough and roll into bite-sized balls. Place on a plate and chill for about 15 minutes.
  • Prepare the brownie batter: Mix the brownie batter according to the package instructions until smooth and glossy.
  • Assemble the brownie bombs: Fill each mini muffin cavity halfway with brownie batter. Place a chilled cookie dough ball in the center, then top with more brownie batter until covered.
  • Bake until fudgy: Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 18–22 minutes, until the tops are set but the centers remain soft.
  • Cool and serve: Let the brownie bombs cool slightly before removing from the pan. Serve warm for gooey centers or fully cooled for firmer bites.
