Base Snacks
- 2 cups cheese cubes cheddar, mozzarella, or mix
- 2 cups assorted crackers
- 1 cup grapes red or green
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- 1 cup pretzels mini twists or sticks
- 1/2 cup olives
- 1/2 cup chocolates or candies optional for sweetness
- a few sprigs fresh rosemary for decoration
Create the tree outline: I start by arranging snacks in a triangle shape on the board to form the outline of a Christmas tree.
Add larger items first: I place cheese cubes and crackers in the center and lower sections to build the structure.
Fill with smaller snacks: I add grapes, tomatoes, pretzels, and olives to fill in gaps and create texture.
Decorate the board: I tuck in rosemary sprigs and add chocolates for color and a festive look.
Finish and serve: I place a star-shaped snack at the top if available, add serving tools, and bring it to the table.
