Okra & Seasoning
- 1 lb fresh okra, trimmed and sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
Prep the okra: Wash and trim the okra, then slice into 1/2-inch pieces. Pat dry to remove excess moisture for better crispiness.
Season the okra: In a mixing bowl, toss okra with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne (if using) until evenly coated.
Preheat the air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
Cook the okra: Place okra in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
