Apple Bundt Cake Batter

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups apples, peeled and diced Granny Smith or Honeycrisp
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans optional

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the bundt pan: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan generously, making sure to coat all grooves to prevent sticking.
  • Mix the dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon until evenly combined.
  • Combine the wet ingredients: In another bowl, mix the vegetable oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and well blended.
  • Make the batter: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Fold in apples and nuts: Gently fold the diced apples and optional nuts into the batter until evenly distributed.
  • Bake the cake: Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Cool and release: Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 15–20 minutes, then carefully turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
