Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika optional

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup buttermilk

Cheese

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Garnish

  • chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat and prepare pan: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
  • Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, garlic powder, and paprika until well combined.
  • Combine wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk melted butter and buttermilk together. Pour wet mixture into dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  • Fold in cheese: Gently fold in shredded cheddar and Parmesan cheese until evenly distributed.
  • Bake the loaf: Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool and serve: Allow loaf to cool for 5–10 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Slice and enjoy warm.
